DUI Arrest Overview
If you are charged with DUI, you have an important choice to make, and you must do it WITHIN 10 DAYS.
YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE IS AT RISK!!
If you do not file mandatory paperwork with the Department of Motor Vehicles within 10 days of your arrest for a DUI, your license will be suspended for between 30 to 90 days, even if it's your first offense. In most cases we can secure a temporary license for you to drive to and from work/school/grocery store, etc. while your case is pending.

LEGAL PROCESS
We can guide you through every step of the legal process.
OUT-OF-STATE REPRESENTATION
If you have an out-of-state attorney representing you, you may want to switch to a Florida attorney. Laws are different in every state, and cases tend to go better when you have an attorney who knows the laws of your state well.
What will happen if I do nothing?
1. Your license will be suspended for at least 6 months.
2. You may lose constitutional defenses to your criminal charge!
3. You may be convicted, sent to state prison, sent to the county jail, forced to serve probation, pay court costs, fines, or cost of supervision, and/or undergo drug /alcohol testing/treatment.
4. You may lose your job, your voting rights, be forced to pay increased insurance rates or get dropped altogether.
5. You may become ineligible to hold any type of professional license in the State of Florida.
What will happen if I hire an attorney?
1. Your attorney can challenge your license suspension and you may be able to get it back ~ BUT a REQUEST FOR FORMAL HEARING must be made WITHIN 10 DAYS of your arrest.
2. Your attorney may be able to file motions based on your constitutional rights and will attempt to get your charges dismissed.
3. Your attorney can guide your decision to enter a plea and do whatever it takes to make sure that your sentence is as lenient as possible, with your best interests and finances in mind.
4. Your attorney will make every attempt to safeguard your rights, your employment, and any of your professional licenses.
5. Your attorney will appear for you in court for most court dates.
6. Your attorney will take your case to trial and fight for your rights if necessary in your circumstances.
